Yuchun Li

Short Bio

Yuchun Li is a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Engineering at the University of California Santa Cruz. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He started working with Dr. Sanfelice since 2010. His research focuses on the design and analysis of distributed state estimation algorithms, incmremental stability, finite-time stability, limit cycles for hybrid dynamical systems and their applications. In the summers of 2014, he worked at BOSCH Research and Technology Center on developing advanced parameter and state estimation algorithms for Li-ion battery used for EVs.

Research Interests

Yuchun has an strong interest in the modeling, simulation, and stability analysis of linear/nonlinear/hybrid systems with applications to mechanical systems and decentralized and robust networked systems.

Teaching

Teaching Assistant: AME 455 (Feeback Control Systems) University of Arizona, Fall 2011 and Spring 2012.

Lecturer (part time): Foundamentals of Computer Science, Zhejiang Institute of Education, Spring 2007.
