Short Bio
Anubhab Dasgupta received his Dual Degree (Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India in 2025. During his undergraduate studies he worked on sparsity approaches for scheduling and control of networked systems (results published in IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, vol. 70, 2025). In 2023 he was a recipient of the Charpak Lab Scholarship from the Embassy of France in India which partly supported his summer research internship that year in LAAS – CNRS, Toulouse, France where he worked within the MAC (Methods and Algorithms in Control) Team. In 2024 he was a recipient of the IITKGP Foundation Scholarship which partly supported his semester-abroad research at LAAS – CNRS, Toulouse, France where he worked on steady state analysis for Kalman filters under Poisson-sampled observations (results published in Systems and Control Letters, vol. 204, 2025). He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Hybrid Systems Laboratory.
His research interests include observability of nonlinear and hybrid systems and analysis of hybrid systems under communication constraints.
