Short Bio
Daniel E. Ochoa is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California San Diego in 2024. Prior to his doctoral studies, he completed his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2022, following an M.Sc. in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the University of Los Andes, Colombia in 2019.
He holds dual Bachelor's degrees from the University of Los Andes, Colombia: Electronics Engineering (cum laude) and Physics with a minor in Computational Mathematics. He received the Young Author Award at the 8th IFAC Conference on Analysis and Design of Hybrid Systems.
